Yoga Therapy

In the human experience, challenges arise that are difficult to navigate alone. WIth a compassionate guide and witness we can learn to move through the currents and storms of life with greater steadiness. Yoga Therapy helps to develop tools that allow us to stay in contact with the inner knowing and wisdom we each contain, but often lose sight of in the tumult of the world. Together, we'll address health and wellness at all levels: physical, psychological, emotional, and spiritual. No prior experience with yoga is necessary. Yoga Therapy integrates the ancient wisdom and teachings of yoga with modern neuroscience and interpersonal neurobiology. Each session is crafted to meet you exactly where you are, and to support you in developing the awareness and tools to help you move toward greater ease and wellbeing. Using a combination of movement, breath, mindfulness, mantra, and conversation, we work through processes of self-inquiry to identify and address the imbalances that lead to suffering and dis-ease. Individual Instruction & Group Classes

I offer both individualized and group instruction in yoga. Let's work together to deepen your personal practice using physical postures, breath, philosophy, and mindfulness tools. For yoga professionals, we'll work to develop your creativity and purpose in sequencing, and integrate the full spectrum of yoga's offerings into your teaching. Consultation

Direct consultation for content-specific instruction, including Mindfulness and/or yoga in community, educational and professional settings; Mindfulness for Restorative Justice and Restorative Practices; Trauma-informed yoga and practices; Mindfulness and mediation for sustainable well-being and team-building

Restorative

Destress and reset your nervous system, mind, heart and body with this practice. Restorative yoga offers deep rest and replenishment, and can offer relief from anxiety, depression, chronic stress and fatigue.
